Primary Care of Women and Adolescents
Primary Care is loosely defined as "Providing the ideal continuity and integration of health care services."
All family physicians, family and adult nurse practitioners, and most pediatricians and internists (Internal Medicine) provide Primary Care services. The goals of Primary Care are: 1) To provide the patient with a broad spectrum of care, both preventive and curative, over a period of time; and 2) to coordinate all of the various specialty care the patient may recieve.
Pamela Egan, FNP-C CDE has been in practice for 28 years. A Board-Certified Adult and Family Nurse Practitioner and Certified Diabetes Educator, she has dedicated her her career to Primary Care and Preventive Medicine.
